Cudmore & Mickelby
Cudmore & Mickelby is an accounting firm in Langley, British Columbia offering services to mid-market clients.
The firm approached Renaissance with some very specific requirements including the construction of a site that would allow their staff to perform site updates from a hidden password protected administration area.
To implement this, we utilized Hypertext Preprocessor technologies (PHP) to allow their site administrators to add new text articles and also to upload PDF files directly from their browser. Another advantage to PHP is that it is extremely stable and is backwards compliant to HTML 1.0 standards.
The site also features search engine capabilities for the user to perform keyword searches for the Tax Online and Tax Facts and Figures sections and a pay for view section that utilizes PHP programmed security features.
By constructing the site for the client to perform their own updates, annual maintainance costs are greatly reduced.
In December 2000, Cudmore & Mickelby merged with another accounting firm and the Cudmore website was closed down.
