Ray Bethell is the worlds' undisputed master of multiple sport kite flying. An eight-time world champion, his kite flying achievements have thrilled audiences in all corners of the world.
When planning for this site, we had three main objectives, to promote Ray's incredible kite flying skills, to promote all of his sponsors for their generous support, and to promote kite flying to people around the globe.
We decided to take a simplistic approach to the construction of Ray's site concentrating on the content which consists of many of Ray's often humorous stories of his world travels as well as lots of information about sport kite flying. The site is primarily html based with a bit of PHP programming for the guestbook and the file upload areas.
Working with Ray on this project was pure pleasure -- he's one of the nicest fellows you could ever hope to meet. If you've never seen Ray flying his kites, be sure to check his calendar and make a point of seeing him when he's in your neighbourhood.
